Ground Paramedic

Inspira Health, the region’s leading network of healthcare providers, is seeking a Full-Time Ground Paramedic to join our EMS team in Mullica Hill, NJ. This position is responsible for providing prehospital Advanced Life Support (ALS) to victims of sudden illness or injury within designated service areas, as well as offering mutual aid assistance to adjacent ALS services when requested. This role offers both day and night shift opportunities, with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $34.11 to $47.76.
Responsibilities:
- Provide prehospital Advanced Life Support (ALS) care to patients of all ages, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, in both ALS and critical care environments
- Perform Basic Life Support (BLS) skills in accordance with New Jersey Administrative Code (N.J.A.C. 8:40)
- Deliver patient care in alignment with Department of Transportation National Standard Curriculum, American Heart Association guidelines, American College of Surgeons standards, and NJ Department of Health EMS regulations
- Assess patient conditions, interpret clinical data, and provide age-appropriate care based on developmental needs, maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and transport
- Ensure patient and crew safety by adhering to all organizational safety protocols and reporting hazards or incidents promptly
- Manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment while keeping a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, emergency personnel, and team members
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license in NJ in accordance with Inspira Health’s Fleet Safety policy
- Current New Jersey Paramedic certification or eligibility for certification through reciprocity as recognized by the NJ Department of Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required; CCEMT-P (CAPCE or UMBC), CCP-C, or FP-C certifications preferred
- Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) preferred
